Well, we’re 36 weeks!

So…it’s been a while! What’s up??

Today marks 36 weeks for baby and me! In the past I would get excited about being “official,” but that seems to have moved to 37 weeks. Plus I’m planning to be closer to 42.

Baby Girl and I are doing well! Tired and sore, but good.

Things currently keeping me going… Still my ligament roll on and Mineral Essence FO SHO. Like lifesavers. Chiro weekly. Loving my enzymes, peppermint and digize, and energy stuff. I’m a fan of the NingXia, Nitro, and Young Living’s new Vitality Drops with caffeine. Oh, and nightly showers for this sore, old bod. My balance ball is key because sitting on beds and couches all the time ends up hurting my pelvic area and the ball helps open things up and with stretch.

I’ve been working on a lot of sanding and painting and Mike has been building and fixing things, so I’ll have to share that later, but that is adding to my soreness.

Over the next 4-6 weeks as I try to get better prepared to birth this child, here’s what I’m planning.

More walking! I need to be way more intentional with that. I’ve been napping almost daily with Bubba because I can’t fall asleep until about 2am and I’m wiped.

I need to check out Spinning Babies and the Miles Circuit and…do something. I would LOVE to have this baby closer to 40 weeks than 42.

I need to find Claradrem or make a sub to start spraying on my perineum for stretch. I’ll probably start that about 38 weeks. Might use Evening Primrose Oil, but let’s be real. Hasn’t seemed to help in the past.

I’ve started throwing stuff in my hospital bag – probably the earliest I’ve ever done that. But really it’s because I know my brain and don’t want to lose stuff. Haha! This just keeps it all together. This time, I’m (more TMI) gonna try out depends instead of pads for ultimate laziness. Cuz why not?

I’m planning for a 6th unmedicated birth, this one in the hospital with a midwife like all my others aside from Fenton (my homebirth).

I’m loving the warmth in Texas. Short sleeves in January?! Yes please! It makes it so much easier to get outside and move.
